An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when the winner, BATTLE FOR GLORY (USA), ridden by Kieran O'Neill interfered with REAL SMOOTH (IRE), placed second, ridden by Tom Marquand, who in turn interfered with FIGHTWITHME (IRE), placed third, ridden by Robert Haviin ONeill was cautioned for careless riding as he switched left when insufficiently clear carrying Marquand off his intended which in turn caused a slight bump to Haviin.
