The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Rumbled Again, trained by D.G. Hogan, concerning his use of a mobile phone in the parade ring prior to this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he couldn't contact the trainer prior to the race and needed to speak to him regarding riding instructions so he asked the trainers representative to call him so he could confirm instructions. He further stated he was unaware of this part of Regulation 16. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), they fined him €100
