I thought the same thing was going to happen today but in fairness to Ben in got him home well. The horse needed every pound of Ben’s claim and he’s great value for it. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving So Sensible, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed fourth, Bluesbreaker, ridden by S.M. Mooney, placed sixth and Latchet, ridden by K.J
Manning, unplaced, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action
C.D. Hayes, rider of Prove The Point trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount banged her head in the stalls and never travelled as a result.
