An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend when KNAB ROCK, unplaced, ridden by Miss Isabel Williams, interfered with ALEXIS CHARRINGTON (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Mr Kaine Wood, which, as a consequence, caused knock-on interference involving SEA'S ARIA (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Mr Freddie Mitchell, MIZEN MASTER (IRE), placed third, ridden by Mr Luke Scott, PARTY ROYAL, unplaced, ridden by Mr David Dunsdon, PRINCE CHARMIN' (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Mr Morgan Winstone, EARTHLY (USA), unplaced, ridden by Mr Shane Quinlan, and RAHMAH (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Miss Serena Brotherton. Miss Williams was suspended for 10 days for careless riding as she had manouevered her mount left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing considerable interference to those horses on her inside. A further enquiry was held to consider interference entering the final bend when EARTHLY (USA), unplaced, ridden by Mr Shane Quinlan, interfered with KNAB ROCK, unplaced, ridden by Miss Isabel Williams. Mr Quinlan was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he had misjudged a gap against the rail and as a consequence made contact with the quarters of KNAB ROCK causing the gelding to become unbalanced and run onto the heels of those horses in front.
