The Starter reported that SHADOW’S GIRL was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 20:00.
Bernard Llewellyn was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Mr Bradley Roberts, the rider of Royal Born (IRE), was unseated on the top bend.
The rider was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved, and the incident was caused by the gelding becoming unbalanced and slipping on the bend, unseating Roberts.
Following the race, Miss Sophie Smith reported that Debt Of Honour (GB), unplaced, slipped on the top bend.
