An enquiry was held following concerns raised by the British Horseracing Authority Integrity Department regarding the timings of the withdrawal of Kenyx (FR), trained by Ivan Furtado, from Race 6 and the subsequent jockey change on Busby (IRE), also trained by Ivan Furtado, in the same race.
The Stewards interviewed Furtado and forwarded the matter to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further investigation.
Following the race, Silvestre De Sousa reported that Busby (IRE), placed third, jumped awkwardly from the stalls.
