K.J. Manning, rider of Ceol An Ghra, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was badly struck into behind in running. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ceol An Ghra, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and confirmed that the filly had been struck into on her left hind.
