The Stewards enquired into an incident after the second last involving Derridae, ridden by D.J. McInerney, placed fifth and Must Be Obeyed, ridden by J.P. O'Sullivan, placed fourth, where it appeared Must Be Obeyed made contact with Derridae. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. McInerney stated that his horse couldn't hold its place when Must Be Obeyed jumped left and caused him to take a precautionary check which made no difference to his finishing place. J.P. O'Sullivan stated that the horse in front of him went right on landing over the second last causing him to switch in to avoid clipping heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action
