Permission was given for Walbank (IRE), Fair Wind (GB), and Miss Attitude (GB) to all wear a red hood to the start, for Equilateral (GB) to go early to post, and for both Democracy Dilemma (IRE) and Tatterstall (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood.
The Starter reported that Democracy Dilemma (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 4:13pm.
Robert Cowell was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Democracy Dilemma (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that all the front gates had opened on terms and that Fair Wind (GB) had refused to race and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
Following the race, Hollie Doyle reported that Lord Riddiford (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and never travelling.
