Marvel De Cerisy off the mark over fences
We're delighted with that. We wanted to see would a step up in trip (extended 2m3f) suit him which it obviously did. He was good, obviously the race fell apart a bit but we were still happy to see him come out and win. I'm delighted for Caolan (Woods, owner). He seemed to jump well, Rachael really nursed him around and she was in no panic anywhere with him. She really helped him round. It's nice to see him come back to form. We'll look at our options now and see what's coming up.
O'Brien earns plaudits for ride on Highstreetfashion
His brother only won as a seven-year-old as well, Witness Of Fashion, and he won seven for me. He has disappointed me a few times. He's a big horse and it took a while to get him to come to himself. We weren't sure about the three-and-two, but he stayed well today. He jumped well, we got his back done a few weeks ago and that seems to have helped him a lot. Hopefully he's handicapped to win another couple. The rider's father worked with me for years, Charlie, so we said we'd give him a chance and I thought he gave him a very positive ride. He's a nice young lad, sits well on a horse and got him jumping great. I thought he gave him a great ride.

All I can say is that I'm very happy. He's a horse that has always shown a lot of promise. He's got tons of pace, but jumping has let him down in the past. Dare I say it, I think he's growing up at the age of nine. Charlie gave him a great ride. He's won on the Flat this year and this is his first win over hurdles, which should have been in Navan a few years ago.
'Proper horse' Sandor Clegane routs the field
Sean said he felt like a proper horse and said three out he just came alive. He said 'it's going to take a good one to beat me' and when he heard a horse coming behind him he just quickened up. Over a trip he can do that and he needs that trip. It doesn't happen very often, unless maybe at Limerick, but we actually think he'll handle real heavy ground every bit the same as that and that would put others out of their comfort zone. I was a little bit worried about the inside track first time around as you can see some of the horses aren't handling it. It's nice to get back with some of the good ones. We'll aim for the Albert Bartlett, we might as well aim high. Hopefully he'll come out of it grand and we'll work from there. We had very little during the summer and then a few little things went wrong. Hopefully we have a few nice ones to come, and he's one of them. He had got beat it was going to be a long struggle.
Penny Jar earns break after three victories in a row
What a little horse! He's the smallest horse in the race by a mile,. He was great in Listowel, I was really impressed with him there after he made a bad mistake. Today I was afraid of the ground to be honest but Conor went around the outside and they were going no gallop. He probably got the best of the ground and he just stayed, he loves a fight. That could be it now, I know he's only run three times but he's won three times, so he's entitled to a little break now. He'll come back in the spring. He'll go up another few pounds now, I suppose, but that was good. I thought the other horse had him down the straight but he just kept battling. He's so small that he'll never jump a fence, he is what he is. I'm absolutely delighted.
