Approaching 2 furlongs out, Tacitus (IRE), unplaced, was shifted right-handed to avoid the heels of a rapidly weakening Dutch Admiral (IRE), unplaced, crowding up Caracristi (GB), placed third, which in turn hampered Haseef (IRE), placed fifth, causing it to make contact with the hindquarters of Superstar Dj (GB), unplaced, unbalancing that runner which then shifted quickly left-handed as a result causing Caracristi (GB) to be checked in its run, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approximately 1½ furlongs out, Tacitus (IRE), unplaced, lugged slightly left-handed impeding Doonbeg Farmer (IRE), unplaced, which had already committed for a tight but legitimate gap to its inside and in turn slightly inconvenienced a weakening Dutch Admiral (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Aidan Keeley reported that Well Prepared (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed throughout.
Taylor Fisher reported that Doonbeg Farmer (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away.
Erika Parkinson reported that Dew You Believe (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Superstar Dj (GB), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
