Permission was given for Apache Blaze (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the bend leaving the back straight involving Tajdeed (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Pierre-Louis Jamin; Angelical Eve (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Aled Beech and Telekinetic (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Sean Kirrane.
The interference was found to be accidental as Tajdeed (IRE) edged slightly left rounding the bend, crowding Angelical Eve (IRE) onto Telekinetic (GB), which was tightened for room on the rail.
As a result of Telekinetic (GB) being tightened for room on the rail entering the bend leaving the back straight, Contingency Fee (GB), unplaced, which was racing directly behind Telekinetic (GB), had to be checked, which resulted in Kieran Schofield having to take a check on Maghfoor (GB), placed fifth, and in so doing caused the gelding to slip, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approximately 1½ furlongs out, Angelical Eve (IRE), unplaced, ducked left away from the whip, carrying Maghfoor (GB), placed fifth, onto Telekinetic (GB), placed eighth, which was denied a clear run, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Ella McCain reported that Celtic Artisan (IRE), unplaced, hung left on the bend; Toby Eley reported that Rebel Cause (IRE), unplaced, ran too free and Cian Macredmond reported that Wedding Breakfast (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away and hung left.
