Permission was given for Rusper's Lad (GB) to go early to post and for Trixie Waterbury (IRE) to be led early to post and for Unapologetic (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the 4 furlong marker involving Bobby Joe Leg (GB), placed fourth, ridden by James Sullivan, Unapologetic (IRE), placed second, ridden by Barry McHugh and Tagovailoa (IRE), placed eighth, ridden by Kieran Shoemark.
Shoemark was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed, towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Unapologetic (IRE) causing McHugh to take a check and in turn bump with Bobby Joe Leg (GB) which became unbalanced.
Following the race, P J McDonald reported that Plumette (GB), placed sixth, was slowly away and also denied a clear run on several occasions in the home straight and David Probert reported that Trixie Waterbury (IRE), unplaced, hung left-handed throughout.
