The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving John Storey, ridden by R.A. Berry, unplaced, and Perfect Pupil, ridden by Anna McGuinness, unplaced, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. A. Berry stated that the horse in front of him was moving out and he had to move out also. Anna McGuinness stated that she maintained her racing line and received pressure from her inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Doonbeg Don, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the second last.
