An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong after the start, when Bodega Nights (GB), unplaced, ridden by Charlie Bennett interfered with Haulfronhobbs (GB), unplaced, ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen and the winner, Puntarelle (GB), ridden by Rob Hornby.
The interference was found to be accidental as, whilst clear, Bodega Nights (GB) slowed the pace through lack of experience when in front, which caused Puntarelle (GB) to ease and a free running Haulfronhobbs (GB) to take a check off heels.
Inside the final furlong, the winner, Puntarelle (GB), shifted slightly right-handed, despite the jockey’s best efforts to keep straight, which moved Concon Candy (IRE), placed third, slightly off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Puntarelle (GB).

Following the race, Joshua Bryan reported that Hildegard (IRE), unplaced, ran green, Dylan Hogan reported that LADY D’ASGOYNE, unplaced was out paced early in the race and Rossa Ryan reported that Narasha (IRE), unplaced, ran too free.
