The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving D Art D Art (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first, and Jerisk Star (FR), ridden by Mr F. Maguire, placed second where it appeared that both horses made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. P.W. Mullins stated that both horses were tired in the closing stages and confirmed that contact was made. Mr F. Maguire stated that he moved his mount out onto the better ground at the point of contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. F. Maguire was in breach of Rule 214(careless riding) and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion
