Sligo Sun, 7th Jul, 2024  Torquay Road The owner (Kevin McConnell) is a friend of Denis O'Regan's. Denis rode this horse work before we bought him and liked him. That was good enough for us. Kevin is a new owner for us and it's great to get a winner for him. He had been jumping very well at home, we hadn't done that much galloping with him but going on his bumper runs, I was a hopeful of a big run today. He probably idled in front and had a bit more left in the tank. We might go to Galway for a novice hurdle. I was with Gordon Elliott for seven years before setting up on my own. I've around 40 horses in and have room for more!

Downpatrick Fri, 10th May, 2024  Sansrisk She is probably unlucky that she didn't get a bumper by now, she was running in very good company and just had a few hard luck stories,.

Tipperary Thu, 9th May, 2024  Jackstell They hadn't gone much of a gallop but John was alert to it and made sure he was bang there turning in. He said he was still green and from thinking he wasn't going to get there, he was then in front too soon as he almost pulled up. We got the rub of the green at the finish but he rallied and has a good attitude. I'd say he is a nice horse to keep going in staying races for the summer . I bought him and we bought Backmeorsackme (bumper winner) the same day so that wasn't a bad day's shopping.

Fairyhouse Sun, 31st Mar, 2024  Kopek Des Bordes He looks a nice type. He worked well at home and showed today that his homework was right. We’ll see if we go to Punchestown — maybe not as it might be too much to ask him. He’s a lovely type for the future. Doctor Steinberg also ran well in third and they are both nice prospects for the future.

Gowran Park Sat, 9th Mar, 2024  Aime Desjy He jumped a lot better today and he seems to like this game better than hurdling. He goes on that ground and I think he’ll go on better ground as we get into the spring. We’ll probably look for something in Fairyhouse.
