Whelan, placed fifth, Nakakande, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced and Amazing One (GB), ridden by W.M
Lordan, unplaced, where it appeared that Amazing One (GB) ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by R.P. Whelan riding carelessly this being a breach of Rule 214
Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended R.P. Whelan for 1 raceday
W.M. Lordan, rider of Amazing One (GB) trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race

Sheridan, placed fourth, Nakakande, ridden by R.C. Colgan, unplaced, Eacharn, ridden by B.M. Coen, placed sixth and Stamp Of Authority, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed second, where it appeared that Nakakande checked severely when racing on the rails position. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by A.J. Slattery riding carelessly this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A,J, Slattery for 2 racedays
