All of my horses take their first run, . I ran a few in maidens in the last week, they all run as good as they can the first day but racing experience seems to bring them on. I was hoping he'd run a nice race today and he went and did that nicely. He's tough. He wears the visors because he's lazy but he's not ungenuine. He's in the July sales and he'll go there. I'd say he could go abroad or he might go jumping, he's a fine horse. He likes fast ground and he'll do well wherever he goes.

He did it the way we thought he'd do it. We kind of had to go here after what the handicapper gave him. He came out of his race well last week and hopefully there is a bit more improvement in him. He'll go for a race in Navan next Friday provided the ground is safe. Shane said he only just got away with that today, he wouldn't want it any quicker. I thought he'd need the run and he'll improve loads,. A lot of mine seem to be taking a run this year. A mile will probably suit him as he won going away. He's in at Leopardstown on Wednesday and I just thought he'd benefit from the run today. Mine had a nice bit of a break down the lockdown. He came here on the back of two pieces of work. I thought he'd run well but thought he would need it. I ran him over 7f as I knew he’d come home well.

As Rachael said he's probably the best horse in the race. He seemed to come on from the last day and I'd probably have been disappointed if he got beat, I know that's probably his grade. He's a grand fun horse. I'd say he'll go back over hurdles now but there might be another one in him on the Flat. He seems to be enjoying it at the moment. Rachael gets the best out of him, he seems to go for her so we won't change anything.
