The winner, Disarming (IRE) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Kempton on 6 February 2021 where the filly finished ninth of nine runners, beaten by 15 lengths.
Dr Jon Scargill’s explanation that the filly had had a 185-day break prior to the Kempton appearance, and had stripped fitter for that run, was noted.
Disarming (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Surrajah (IRE), placed seventh, lost its left fore shoe.
