An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the home bend when the winner, Mon Frere (IRE), ridden by Luke Morris, interfered with Anyonecanhaveitall (GB), placed third, ridden by P.
J.
McDonald, who in turn interfered with Jupiter Custos (FR), placed seventh, ridden by Nicky Mackay, who in turn interfered with Affair (GB), unplaced, ridden by Charlie Bennett.
The interference was found to be accidental as Mon Frere (IRE) shifted marginally left, before being quickly corrected by Morris, carrying McDonald off his intended line on to Mackay resulting in Bennett having to take a slight check.
