Permission was given for Arthur's Realm (IRE) to wear a red hood in the preliminaries, and for Flor De La Luna (GB) to go to post early.
ARTHUR’S REALM (IRE) drawn 10, anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started.
Being satisfied that it was not caused through a faulty action of the starting stalls, no further action was taken.
The performance of Point Lynas (IRE) which finished unplaced, was considered.
Ray Dawson reported post-race that the gelding stopped quickly, and the representative of Ed Bethell reported that the gelding may have been unsuited by the Soft, Good to Soft in places ground on this occasion and would prefer a sounder surface.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Oisin Orr the rider of ARTHUR’S REALM (IRE), placed third, was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from 1½ furlongs out.
Following the race, Nicola Currie reported that Dashing Roger (GB), unplaced, was slowly away.
Hollie Doyle reported that Flor De La Luna (GB), unplaced, was never travelling.
