He was a seven furlong horse or miler on the Flat, it turned into a bit of a sprint and that probably suited the quickest horse in the race. He might be one to stay at home. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Konitho (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
A novice hurdle race for four yrs old only which, at entry, are rated 130 or less Weights - 10st 11lb Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race 4lb extra; Winner of a hurdle race value more than E10,000 7lb extra; Note Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 130 or less.
