B.J. Geraghty, rider of After Rain (FR), trained by J.R. Barry, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped poorly. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined After Rain (FR), trained by J.R. Barry, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Miss Clare Louise Cannon, trainer of Mount Beckham, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge made a respiratory noise in running.
