The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Charlie Stout, ridden by P.E. Corbett, placed second, Top Othe Ra, ridden by P. Townend, placed first and Crossed My Mind, ridden by Rachael Blackmore, placed third, where it appeared Crossed My Mind received interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action. R. Walsh, rider of Golden Spear (GB), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't handle today's going. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Housesofparliament, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. A.W. Short, rider of Mr Showtime trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up.
