The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.J. Carberry, rider of Sil Ver Klass (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Mr. Carberry in breach of both Regulation 10.3(g) frequency and Regulation 10.3(i) time to respond and having considered his record, they Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays
P. Townend, rider of Fan De Blues (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a few mistakes
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fan De Blues (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be mildly distressed post race.
