An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference from approaching 3 furlongs out involving Carlos Felix (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Jamie Spencer and Mr Carpenter (IRE), placed third, ridden by David Allan.
In the first incident, Spencer was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he edged left carrying Mr Carpenter (IRE) notably off its intended line.
The second incident, which occurred shortly afterwards, was found to be accidental as there was interference between the two riders when both tried to hold their lines and maintain their positions.
