The winner Here And Now (GB), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at York on 19 August 2020 where the gelding finished tenth of seventeen runners, beaten by 12 lengths.
Ralph Beckett explained that the gelding had stripped fitter for his two most recent runs following a 613-day break.
His explanation was noted and Here And Now (GB) was routine tested.
