He is from a staying family and is out of a mare Aura About You who won a Listed hurdle and was third at Cheltenham to Quevega. I think he'll stay all day and I think he will improve a good bit from today. If you come out to the better tracks you are going to meet Envoi Allen and a better type of horse and while he was entered at Wexford, I thought the track would be too tight for him. Rachael said he was still immature and we'll see how he comes out of this but he could run in a Graded novice hurdle next. That's Rachael's first winner for me and she is brilliant but I feel sorry for Bryan (Cooper) who unfortunately has no luck at all at the moment. Paul Nolan, trainer
Owing to the low lying elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for hurdles # 3,4 & 5 to be omitted from this race At the request of the Stewards, C.D. Timmons, rider of Ensel Du Perche (FR), trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped well to be in contention, he was caught flat footed when the three hurdles in the back straight were omitted and the race got away from him. In his opinion his mount would be better suited to softer ground and running over a longer trip At the request of the Stewards, J.J. Slevin, rider of Resurrected Duke, trained by T.J. Taaffe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was keen early on before settling and jumping well but weakened after the second last hurdle
