We’ll consider something like the Coral Cup and there is a big bonus there now so that would twist my arm towards that race. The Stewards enquired into an incident close to the line involving Eglantine Du Seuil (FR), ridden by M.P
Fogarty, placed fourth, Buildmeupbuttercup (GB), ridden by P. Townend, placed fifth, Thosedaysaregone, ridden by K.J. Brouder, placed first and You Raised Me Up ridden by L.P. Dempsey, placed third, where it appeared Buildmeupbuttercup ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any interference caused and therefore took no further action
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Unexcepted (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
