We found a nice little race for him today and Eoin gave him lovely quiet ride, filled him up the whole way. He loves that ground. Last year he didn't have the ground. He won twice for us last year and we were just lucky to get nice ground for him. This year we were kind of kicking ourselves with the way the ground was but we couldn't get him out at all. An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (130 = 11st 10lbs) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap shall not be less than 11st 10lbs Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won. Riders - Confined to Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52 (iii). Allowances - (which are not cumulative, up to and including 11th March) Riders who have not ridden the winners of 25 *races allowed...........4lb Those who have not ridden the winners of 40 *races allowed..........2lb No allowance under Rule 52 (iii) may be claimed *Including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing The Riders of the first three horses will receive €250, €150 and €100 respectively from the I.N.H.S. Committee Mr. J.P. McManus will present a trophy to the winning Owner, Trainer and Rider and will also present €200 to the Groom in charge of the best turned out horse in this race
