An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when Total Commitment (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Angus Villiers interfered with Lancelot Du Lac (ITY), unplaced, ridden by Shane Kelly.
Villiers was suspended for 3 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail under a right-handed drive, causing Kelly to have to take a significant check on the rail.
Sean Davies, the rider of the winner Reeves (GB), was also interviewed but was found not to be involved in the interference.
