The Stewards interviewed Mr S. Cavanagh, rider of Live Every Day, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. S. Cavanagh was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (i), in that he used his whip without giving his mount sufficient time to respond. Having considered his record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. S. Cavanagh for 1 raceday
The Stewards received a report from Mr. L. Walsh , Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr A.J. Fox , rider of Global Racing , weighed in at 1.5 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. A.J. Fox was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore suspended him for 2 racedays

Dunne was in breach of Rule 231 and they therefore cautioned him on this occasion having considered his previous record in this record in this regard
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Absolute Grit trained by David Harry Kelly was lame post race
Mr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Roxys Holly (GB) trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran a bit keen
Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Nibblers Charm trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount flipped his pallet in the home straight
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Classic Concorde, trained by Andrew McNamara, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
