The winner Pinarella (FR), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Carlisle on 31 May 2019 where the filly finished eighth of the eleven runners, beaten by 18 ¼ lengths.
The representative for Ben Haslam’s explanation that the filly appreciated the Good to Firm, Good in places ground on this occasion, having finished unplaced on Soft ground last time out, was noted.
Following the race, Daniel Tudhope reported that Fairy Fast (IRE), which started second favourite and finished last of the thirteen runners, was slowly away and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Cam Hardie reported that Allsfineandandy (IRE), unplaced, became unbalanced by the undulations at Ripon on this occasion.
