Leaving the stalls, Round The Island (GB), unplaced, jumped right-handed, slightly interfering with Moretti (IRE), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Just inside the final two furlongs, Round The Island (GB), unplaced, edged right-handed taking Lucky Lodge (GB), placed third, off its intended line which in turn caused Alameery (GB), unplaced, to receive a bump, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Approaching 1 ½ furlongs out, the winner, Carlovian (GB), edged right-handed at the same time as Round The Island (GB), unplaced, shifted left-handed causing the rider of Moretti (IRE), placed second, to take a slight check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Carlovian (GB).
