Permission was given for Justice Knight (IRE) to go to post early.
The winner Justice Knight (IRE) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Hereford on 12 November 2019, where the gelding finished ninth of fourteen beaten 42 lengths.
Michael Scudamore explained that the gelding may have appreciated the better ground on this occasion.
His explanation was noted.
Following the race, Nicky Richards reported that Wot A Shot (IRE), placed fifth, was unsuited by the Good to Soft, Good in places ground on this occasion and would prefer a sounder surface.
James Corbett reported that Let's Sway (GB), unplaced, hung left in the home straight.
The performance of Remember The Days (IRE) which started favourite but finished unplaced, was considered.
Jedd O’Keeffe could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
