Permission was given for Nikolayeva (GB) to go early to post and Spring Glow (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when Deluxe Music (GB), placed second, ridden by David Nolan, interfered with Spring Glow (GB), placed third, ridden by William Carver.
Nolan was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed Deluxe Music (GB) to hang right-handed without timely correction, inconveniencing Spring Glow (GB) and carrying that filly off its intended line.
Following the race, Frederick Larson reported that Nikolayeva (GB), placed fourth, ran too freely throughout and Dougie Costello reported that Pax Britannica (IRE), placed fifth, ran too freely.
Edward Greatrex reported that Carnival Craft (IRE), which was pulled up, had no more to give; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly shortly after the race failed to reveal any abnormalities.
