As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Zamjar (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
The Starter reported that Prince of Rome (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 9.

Jane Elliott, the rider of the winner, Lincoln Park (GB), was suspended for 2 days for using her whip without allowing her mount time to respond from inside the final furlong.
Shortly after the start, Canford Bay (IRE), placed fourth, hung left-handed despite the best efforts of its rider to correct the gelding, causing the rider of the winner, Lincoln Park (GB), to take a check, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Pat Dobbs reported that Centurion Song (IRE), placed eighth, was denied a clear run on a number of occasions in the home straight.
