Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.

As the trainer had not indicated at declaration stage that the gelding should be withdrawn in the event of losing a shoe on the way to post, Jupiter Du Gite (FR) ran without its right fore shoe.

Mullins added that the gelding ran too freely in the early stages.
The Veterinary Officer further reported that Almuhit (IRE), unplaced, lost its left hind shoe.
