A tight three-way finish here with Sharp Drop getting her head in front close home to make a winning debut.

It could be argued that he didn't run to his mark with the 79 rated Fay Street just behind him in third. That rival did have the benefit of a run, however, having been second here last month.

He was delivered with his challenge a furlong out and kept on gamely. He should be capable of picking up a maiden here.

Academy Blues ran well on his debut. The son of Fusaichi Pegasus tracked the leaders throughout and although unable to go with them over a furlong out, kept on nicely.

Invisible Spirit missed the kick but worked her way into contention and kept on in the final furlong. She should be better for the run.

Safe Spark missed the kick and then ran freely. Not surprisingly she struggled at the business end and finished tailed off.
