The Stewards requested a report from Donal Commins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Drish Melody, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Donal Cummins stated that his charge got quite upset travelling to the races at Dundalk on the first of December and this may have attributed to its poor performance
Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given
