Successful at Cork last month, La Dame Blanche warrants respect, while admirable veteran Lord Erskine, who has no less than 11 wins to his name, is another leading hope.

Darragh knows him well and was very good on him. I was a bit worried about the ground but Darragh said it was no problem. I could never get him into a good race with a light weight and it was the same on the Flat. He’d a proper weight on his back today and there was a good gallop which suited him. We were disappointed the last day when we thought he'd nearly win in Leopardstown, but maybe his first run back maybe took a little out of him. He had a nice little space between runs today.
