FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SLIEVE BINNIAN is an experienced five-time winner who put in a career best effort when scoring on his first attempt at this distance last month, so might progress further. He has been raised 8lb for that success and has plenty weight but that recent form was boosted by the fourth-placed horse scoring subsequently. Tribal Star won a maiden over today's course-and-distance last month and being well-bred, might also progress. By Sea The Stars and out of a Listed winner who has produced two blacktype performers, he cost 550,000gns as a yearling and should compete from 1lb out of the handicap, under a 3lb claimer. Come On The Lads has strong form claims but is declared to run on Wednesday.
An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (100 = 10st)Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.

Quotes on Ceallach (IRE)
It was (a good opportunity), it was a race we picked out after his last run. He has had a very consistent year and it is good that he has finished the year on a high. He loves that trip here and he travels well on the surface. He moved very well and Colin gave him a lovely ride. We are delighted with him. He was very professional about it, he's a very honest horse and a high-grade horse. He was on his game. We'll have a look at the programme and see where he is, and then we will go forward from there. He handles the surface up here so well that he will probably come back. After Ceallach (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 8th Dec 2023 1m 4f Flat Hcap Standard

Quotes on Migdam (FR)
We’re still figuring this horse out. He ran over a mile and one in Punchestown and just got chinned so we decided to drop him back even though he’d won over a mile and two in Doncaster. Hopefully the handicapper won’t be too hard on him. The two of them have fought it out and they are solid horses that we can look forward to for next year. I’m not sure what we will do with them now but they are Premier (Handicap) horses for next year. After Migdam (FR) finished 1st at Dundalk on Fri, 13th Oct 2023 1m Flat Hcap Standard

Quotes on En Or (FR)
After Limerick I wasn’t too confident that he would get the trip but he toughed it out well. He knuckled down well the last furlong which was great. He’s a horse that carries a fair bit of condition and will mix it between the Flat and hurdles. John Hartnett (part owner) and his family are here today but are heading back to American tomorrow. After En Or (FR) finished 1st at Fairyhouse on Wed, 12th Jul 2023 1m 6f Flat Good

Quotes on Tribal Star (IRE)
He was a very expensive yearling from Godolphin, we bought him in July at the Horses In Training Sale. He's a big, raw horse - he's a huge horse, (by) Sea The Stars, takes a little bit of time. I think he will be a lovely horse to look forward to next year in staying handicaps. I think he could be a real staying horse for next year - he's just a big, raw baby and he is only going to get stronger. We just didn't make enough use of him here the last night. The plan today was always to make sure it was a test. In all fairness, Andy Oliver's horse came at him but he wasn't for stopping, he went on again. There's a big possibility he will go over hurdles at Christmas, maybe Leopardstown. We haven't done a whole pile (of schooling) with him as yet, but he'll be learning fairly quick! After Tribal Star (IRE) finished 1st at Dundalk on Wed, 27th Nov 2024 1m 4f Flat Maiden Standard
