I'd say he'd have no trouble winning a Flat race and I'd say he will probably go hurdling at some stage. We might look for a winners bumper for him now maybe, and we'll go from there. The Stewards received a report from Ms. Joan Taylor M.R.C.V.S, IHRB Veterinary Officer, in relation to her observations of visible evidence of recent skin disease when inspecting Sir Tivo (FR) trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy. In her opinion the animal had been treated for a skin condition over an extensive area but there were some areas still active. Ms Sabrina Barnwell and Mr. Alan Dunlop, Killarney Racecourse Veterinary Surgeons both confirmed that they had examined Sir Tivo (FR) and confirmed that areas around the right forelimb, inside the right knee and the saddle appeared to be active of a skin disease. Eoin Christopher McCarthy, trainer, presented an undated Veterinary Certificate from Louise Flynn M.R.C.V.S, Curtins Veterinary, Abbeyfeale stating that Sir Tivo (FR) had been treated for a fungal infection for the last three weeks and in her opinion the fungal infection was dead. He added that the skin disease broke out about five weeks ago and the animal was initially given an antihistamine before being subsequently treated with Imaverol. He stated that Louise Flynn M.R.C.V.S had called to his yard yesterday and was satisfied from her observations that the skin disease was dead and issued the undated certificate at that time. Having considered all the evidence presented, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Sir Tivo (FR)
