The Stewards interviewed S.C. Cronin, rider of Annie Fior, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were of the opinion that S.C. Cronin was in breach of Rule 211(a) by failing to ride in a straight line to the marker poles. The Stewards cautioned S.C. Cronin having taken his clean record into consideration.
