The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cooldine Bog, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
At the request of the Stewards, D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Cooldine Bog, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was reluctant to start and never travelled

Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays: Races 2 to 7 + 5 minutes
An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards (130 = 11st 10lbs) Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 11st 10lbs and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each steeplechase won.
