Approximately 3 furlongs out, Callum Hutchinson, the rider of a free running Saaheq (GB), placed fourth, attempted to avoid the heels of Pop Dancer (IRE), placed second, causing him to make contact with the winner, Outrage (GB), on several occasions, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Saaheq (GB), placed fourth, ran too free and was denied a clear run entering the straight and the Veterinary Officer reported that Pop Dancer (IRE), placed second, had been struck into on both hinds.
