Miss S. Ahern, rider of Kilbarry Chianti, trained by C. O'Keeffe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung right throughout
The Stewards enquired into the unseating of Aslukwoodhavit (GB), ridden by Miss J. Townend, on the turn into the straight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that as she turned into the straight she had her head down and didn't see the rail until very late at which point her mount jinked. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised Miss J. Townend to ride with more awareness in future
