He had to go to the castle to pull her up so she's probably done well to win over two miles. We'll go back hurdling with her now. I think there is a mares’ hurdles in Roscommon after Listowel and we might look at that. She's going to handle winter ground as well, she's not just a summer mare. For a handy enough mare she jumps well. It was grand to get that job done. She's tough, she had to battle at the end of it. The Stewards interviewed Mr M. McGuane, rider of Jesina, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence Mr M. McGuane stated that his filly got lonely in front and began to roll around. He added that he applied the whip to keep his mount concentrating and up to her work. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr M. McGuane was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Mr M. McGuane on this occasion
