We weren't sure about the soft ground but obviously he handled it and he's a horse that needs two mile-six plus. He's not a very fluent jumper of either hurdles or fences and he was snatching at his hurdles today but at least he gets over them. Over fences, he's terrible!. He's in again at Ballinrobe on Monday because we thought he wouldn't get in here. I'll have a chat with the owners to see if they want to go there, or else we'll freshen him up. The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Noel C. Kelly, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of That's Me Finished, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Noel C. Kelly reported that the ease in the ground and what he felt was a lesser race may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form
Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-95 Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
